Advalight Laser at Orskin Aesthetics Clinic Dubai

Advalight is one of Orskin's most versatile laser treatments. It uses two different wavelengths of light, allowing the Orskin team to follow Orsi's protocol to target concerns ranging from visible redness and small blood vessels to acne, pigmentation and uneven texture, all at once and without any downtime.
The treatment can be adjusted according to what's actually happening with your skin, which is particularly useful when there's more than one concern to deal with. Depending on your skin and your skin concerns, Orsi may use one wavelength or combine the two.
Your Advalight Skin Journey

- Results visible: Gradually, although some changes may be noticed earlier
- Designed to address: Redness, acne, pigmentation, visible vessels and uneven skin tone, with a total of 25+ FDA-approved indications
What Is Advalight?
Advalight is an advanced dual-wavelength laser system combining 589nm yellow light and 1319nm infrared light to deliver targeted skin treatments. These two therapeutic wavelengths can be used individually or paired together in specialised modes to address diverse skin conditions at different skin depths.
Key functions of each wavelength include:
589nm Wavelength (Yellow Light): Targets oxyhemoglobin, vascular structures, red and brown pigmentation, and acne-causing bacteria.
1319nm Wavelength (Infrared Light): Targets water content in skin tissue and addresses overactive sebaceous glands.
Together, these dual therapeutic wavelengths reach distinct skin layers, providing versatile solutions across more than 25 FDA-cleared indications.
What Can Advalight Treat?
Advalight can be used for a surprisingly wide range of skin concerns, including:
Redness
Rosacea-prone skin
Visible facial vessels
Acne and breakouts
Excess oil
Pigmentation
Sun damage
Uneven skin tone
Uneven texture
General signs of skin ageing
That doesn't mean every type of redness or pigmentation should automatically be treated with the laser. Orsi will first look at what's causing the concern, particularly with pigmentation, where the wrong approach can sometimes make things worse.
Advalight for Redness and Visible Vessels
Persistent redness can be difficult to cover and equally difficult to improve with skincare alone. The 589nm wavelength can target the haemoglobin within visible vessels, making Advalight particularly useful for facial redness, small visible capillaries and some vascular concerns.
It's also an option for people whose skin seems to look permanently flushed rather than simply becoming red occasionally.
Advalight for Acne
Advalight can also be used as part of a treatment plan for acne. The 1319nm wavelength can be used when excess oil and active breakouts are part of the problem, while the 589nm wavelength may help with some of the redness that can remain around blemishes.
Acne is rarely exactly the same from one person to another, so Orsi will look at the type of breakouts you're experiencing before deciding whether laser is the right option.
Advalight for Pigmentation
Advalight may be used for certain pigmentation concerns, including areas of uneven tone and sun-related pigmentation.
Pigmentation does need to be treated carefully, particularly in Dubai where sun exposure is difficult to avoid and some skin tones are more prone to developing pigmentation after inflammation.
Melasma also behaves differently from straightforward sun spots, so Orsi will assess the pigmentation before treating it rather than assuming every brown mark needs the same laser setting.
What Happens During Treatment?
Your appointment starts at Orskin Aesthetics Clinic Dubai.
A thorough skin analysis using the Skin Observer system is performed first. This allows us to examine your skin in detail, discuss the findings, and determine the most effective wavelength, or combination of wavelengths, for your personalised treatment plan.
During treatment, the laser is passed over the areas being targeted. You may feel warmth or a light snapping sensation, but most people tolerate the treatment well.
The length of the appointment depends on the size of the area and what is being treated.
Afterwards, the skin may look a little red or feel warm. With treatments targeting pigmentation or visible vessels, you may also notice temporary changes in the treated area as the skin responds.
Our highly trained experts will explain what to expect before you leave.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
It depends on what you're treating. A small visible vessel is very different from ongoing acne or widespread redness, so there isn't one course that makes sense for everyone.
Some concerns may respond relatively quickly, while others need a series of treatments. Orsi will give you a clearer idea once she's seen your skin.
When Will I See Results?
Results develop differently depending on the concern. With redness or visible vessels, you may begin to notice changes as the treated area settles. Pigmentation can temporarily appear darker before fading, while acne and overall skin quality usually need more time and, in some cases, a course of treatment.
The important thing is that Advalight isn't used at one standard setting for every problem. The treatment needs to match both the concern and the skin being treated.
Is Advalight Suitable for All Skin Tones?
Advalight can be used across a range of skin tones, but skin tone is an important part of deciding how any laser should be used.
If your skin is prone to pigmentation, our team will take this into account when deciding whether Advalight is suitable and how the treatment should be performed. This is especially important when treating pigmentation itself.
Why Advalight at Orskin Aesthetics Clinic Dubai?
Having two wavelengths makes Advalight a very versatile laser, but that versatility only matters if the right wavelength and settings are chosen in the first place.
Orsi looks at the skin as a whole rather than simply treating whichever concern is most obvious. If you're experiencing acne alongside redness, for example, or pigmentation alongside visible vessels, she can decide how best to approach the different issues. And if laser isn't the right treatment for what she's seeing, she'll tell you that too.

It's particularly useful when redness, acne, visible vessels, pigmentation or uneven skin tone are the main concerns.
Most people tolerate it well. You may feel warmth or a light snapping sensation during treatment.
Downtime is generally minimal, although this depends on what has been treated and the settings used. Temporary redness or warmth can occur.
It may be used to improve some of the visible redness and vascular changes associated with rosacea. Orsi will assess your skin first, particularly if it's sensitive or currently experiencing a flare.
Yes, it can be used as part of a treatment plan for acne, particularly where active breakouts, excess oil and redness are concerns.
Advalight can be used for certain types of pigmentation. The cause of the pigmentation needs to be assessed first, particularly with melasma or skin that's prone to post-inflammatory pigmentation.
There's no set number. It depends on your skin, what is being treated and how you respond.
It's better to plan laser treatments in advance rather than booking your first session immediately before an important event. Orsi can advise on timing once she knows what you're having treated.
